Featuring three DIME-II expansion slots, the BenNUEY-PCIX-V4 motherboard supports multiple analog and digital I/O interfaces, memory types, and Xilinx user FPGAs on a single full-length PCI-X card.
An onboard Virtex-4 FX FPGA featuring two embedded IBM® 405 PPCs provides the ideal balance of resources for processing and system management. FPGA applications control the PCI-X bus through an optimized VHDL IP Core, providing access to other resources in the system. PCI-X bus mastering and multiple interrupt support allows the BenNUEY-PCIX-V4 to easily communicate and manage dataflow with the Host computer.
The PCI backplate boasts an external clock input and 66-bits of digital I/O in single-ended or differential setup. This flexible and high performance interface allows sensors to be directly coupled to the multi-FPGA BenNUEY-PCI-X-V4 architecture, or used as a system-level communications path to other Nallatech motherboards or third party equipment.
