The XMC-230™ FPGA Processing PMC/XMC provides users with the simplest way to add FPGA processing to their embedded systems.   The Virtex-5 FPGA on the XMC-230 provides a powerful engine for data processing applications and with the option of an SX95T or LX155T developers can optimize the processing resources to the needs of their application.

2 banks of DDR2 SDRAM are directly connected to the FPGA, providing users with the ability to buffer or store data at high-speed – an essential element of signal processing applications.
Since the XMC-230 is offered as a hybrid PMC/XMC, it can be used with the many compute cards that have PMC sites on-board, as well as newer cards which offer XMC sites.

As part of the scalable VME and XMC series of products from Nallatech, the XMC-230 is complemented by further PMC/XMC mezzanines, processing engines, and application development tools.
