The BenNUEY-VME-VXS™ provides a scalable computing platform for high performance FPGA development and deployment across a range of application areas including signal intelligence, image processing, software defined radio, and algorithm acceleration.

Featuring three DIME-II expansion slots, the BenNUEY-VME-VXS motherboard supports multiple analog and digital I/O interfaces, memory types, and Xilinx user FPGAs on a single 6U card.

Two SFP connectors on the front panel offer access to a wide variety of communications protocols including Gbit Ethernet, Infiniband and Fibrechannel.  These connectors interface directly to RocketIO® ports on the Virtex-II Pro user FPGA.

Additional RocketIO ports are also connected to the VXS connector on the VME backplane, providing a further 10Gbps bandwidth to other VME cards.  The P2 connector provides additional backplane bandwidth and can be customized by the user to fulfill a variety of needs.
